The Challenger has been recalled 27 times. The 2009 and 2010 model years have been involved in the most campaigns.
Recalls are free repairs, initiated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or Dodge itself, for a widespread safety problem. They might be a pain, but a recalled problem is better than an ignored one.

Fiat-Chrysler (FCA) says they’ve entered the _ fourth and final stage_ of Takata recalls with a campaign to replace the passenger-side inflators in 1.6 million vehicles.
The bulk of the vehicles are in the US and include the 2010 Dodge Ram 3500, 4500, 5500, the 2010-2011 Dakota, the 2010-2014 Challenger, and the 2011-2015 Charger.…

Dodge says about 72 Challengers from the 2015 model year are missing a rear bolt that is a critical part of the driver's side airbag inflated curtain.
