Grand Caravan Hoods Keep Flying Up
Fiat-Chrysler (FCA) is recalling over 1,600 vans because their hoods keep flying up while on the road. Listen, I enjoy a good game of peek-a-boo with my toddler, but peek-a-boo with the road? That's not a good time. According to FCA, the bolts that attach the hood striker are coming loose over time.
- The recall is expected to begin on 11/06/2015.
- The affected vans include the 2016 Chrysler Town and Country and 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan that were built between 08/19/2015 and 08/27/2015.
- Dealers will install new hood striker bolts.
Full details about the recall, and contact information for both Chrysler and Dodge, are available on CarComplaints.com.
